El Buen Samaritano's general expenses are approximately $7,500 US per month plus special funding for High School students.  In November we are going to need an additional fund to be able to send all the children to school. Every year the number of students increases as does the cost. For 2008 we will need at least $_____ US extra.

During the year, we receive continual support from some very helpful international associations as well as material donations such as (clothes, shoes, school supplies, etc) from Guatemala and abroad. We also receive assistance from associations in Germany, Canada, Holland, U.S.A, Italy and Switzerland.  However, even with all of this support, our financial situation still lacks a solid foundation. That is why we need to establish more stable funding not only from abroad, but also from within Guatemala! This is necessary to ensure that EBS will be able to continue helping these children today and, together, will be able to create a better tomorrow.
